VPFlowScope M shows no Flow.

VPFlowScope M shows no Flow.

There can be two reasons for this:

1. If you have recently updated or going to update your VPFlowScope M to the latest firmware (2.2.0), please be careful about the diameter.
The diameter of the transmitter will be set to 0 after a firmware update. Even when the cartridge is reconnected, it remains at 0, and 0 is also put in the cartridge.
Consequently, The flow value is 0 until you set the correct diameter. You can solve this by entering the right diameter.

2. When powered from USB only, the flow sensor is not turned on. You need to power the instrument via 16...24 VDC (5 pin M12) as well.



Warning
VPFlowScope M measures pressure and temperature (no flow) while connecting only via USB. In order to read out the flow, you need to power up the instrument via the 5-pin port.
