SECURITY CHECK

Check safety and personal protection gear. ALWAYS.

  • Eye protection
  • Ear protection
  • Hard Hat
  • Safety Boots
  • Reflective vest
  • Required Permits, Diplomas, Certification for work

Equipment list

Flowmeters:

  • FlowScope dP with display
  • FlowScope M with display
  • In-line (depending on the issues and if you have the correct size)
  • Connector cap (transmitter without display) if that is what the customer has.

Other equipment:

  • Laptop with VPStudio 1 and VPStudio 3 working and Modpoll
  • Mini-USB cable
  • JB5 Kit
  • Ethernet cable
  • Wi-Fi hotspot with cellular connection (either smart phone with a hotspot enables or a separate cellular hotspot.)
  • PicoScope
  • Digital Voltmeter (DVM)
  • Screw drivers of the size needed for terminals on the Moxa module, Terminals, etc.
  • M12, 5-pin, 5m cable
  • Modbus to Ethernet converter
  • Moxa Module
  • Modbus Junction Box
  • Industrial Power Supply
  • Power supply with M12 connector
  • Hookup wire (in case a jumper for a 4..20mA connection needs to be made)
  • Electrical tape
  • Wire stripers
  • Jumper leads (in case you want to connect the DVM inline with the 4..20mA signal to verify that the right current is present.)

Documentation:

  • User Manuals (either hard copies or pdf copies on a laptop)
  • VPI literature (in case the chance for purchasing something else arrises)
  • Price Book so that the customer will have an idea of the list price
